Follow the main story of Grimrain, explore the lore surrounding your character's heritage. Quest hubs provide long side quests of deep history of the denizens of Viladen, whilst short quests, kill orders, dungeons, and supply tasks provide other ways for your character to gain the skills required to survive.

Open-ended skill system

Your character increases in skill with every spell they cast, or even sword the swing - choose to focus on one combat style, or mix abilities from multiple schools. Loot, craft, or modify weapons and armour to suit your combat style and spell selection.

Instanced Dungeons & Gauntlets

Instanced dungeons are private dungeons for solo or group play. Completing an instanced dungeon as a group will reward players with high quality loot, whilst completing an instance solo in challenge or story modes gives a flexible single player game experience. Timed gauntlets give you a chance to show off your skills! Defeat a number of enemies in challenging dungeons to win rewards.

Overworld Dungeons

Overworld dungeons are public dungeons that can be explored by anyone. Located far from villages and quest hubs, they contain difficult enemies, hidden loot, crafting recipes, class spells, and puzzles.

Crafting and Gathering

Choose from a variety of crafting and gathering professions - master a few, or learn them all! Gather or trade resources between players, and use them to craft items.

Trading

Players can trade with other players or with NPCs. They can buy and sell items, resources, and services. Players can also trade with other players through the auction house.

Fishing

Find secluded waters for elusive fish, or camp out at the harbour, enjoy a tasty beverage and watch the world go by
